Document Controller / Project Coordinator

£30,000 + Benefits

My client a growing business with the construction industry is offering the opportunity to join a committed and successful team of 4 as a document controller. In this role your responsibilities will include :

  • Distributing site instructions to the relevant departments

  • Digitising new drawing changes

  • Checking online portals for new revised documents (finishes schedules, site instructions, programme changes, drawings, specs)

  • Uploading weekly progress reports

  • Tracking programme changes and updating the excel programme spreadsheets

  • Analysing and updating our internal project & document tracker

  • Liaising with the quantity surveyors to ensure all site instructions are priced and ordered

  • Attending site visits to ensure the project managers folders are up to date

  • Creating electronic and hard copy folders once a job is handed over for the project managers

  • Attending handovers of jobs between pre-construction and operations

  • Taking meeting minutes

  • Chasing project managers weekly for project updates

  • Reporting any issues which may have a financial impact to the quantity surveyors

  • Generally assisting the project managers with their weekly paperwork

To be considered for this role

You should have previous document control experience.
