Office Angels are currently recruiting a Document Administrator to join a prestigious public-sector organisation. This role is temporary, guaranteed for a minimum of 6 months, however there is a strong possibility the contract will be extended or be made permanent for the right candidate. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday and is hybrid working with a minimum of 1 day per week in the office (of which is based in Manchester City Centre).



This position is to start imminently, therefore you must be available to start at relatively short notice. The successful candidate will be subject to a 3-year reference clearance and a Basic DBS check. You must be able to provide a full reference history and up-to-date proofs of address/identification.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Handling and processing confidential documentation.

  • System testing.

  • Updating documents with necessary changes.

  • Maintaining and updating databases.

  • Reformatting crucial documentation.

  • Following strict procedures and processes, in line with the organisation's policies.

  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support to team members as and when required.

  • Liaising with colleagues to ensure work is completed to a set deadline.

  • Ensuring work meets data protection standards.

  • Email correspondence.



Person Specification:



  • Proven experience of providing high-quality administrative support (essential).

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to work at pace.

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent knowledge of IT Systems, including all Microsoft packages.
