An exciting opportunity to work for a well recognised company in West Swindon as a Distribution Administrator.


The hours will be split between either 8am - 4.30pm / 11.30am -8pm Monday to Friday


The role could potentially go perm for the right candidate.


The main responsibilities includes scheduling deliveries, providing delivery information and finalising driver paperwork. This role will be working in a fast pace working environment, liaising with departments, stores and customers regarding all aspects of delivery and completing a range of admin tasks.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Communicating with customers on the telephone as a first port of call, to book and confirm deliveries and ensure all information is accurate. To communicate via Email effectively and professionally, if the customer is not reachable on the phone.

  • Recording information accurately on the Driver run sheets and ensuring all information provided is correct.

  • To respond within the agreed period to all customer service issues, in a professional manner.

  • To help develop more efficient systems of work.

  • To assist with the return process and the rebooking of failed deliveries, while communicating clearly with customers throughout this process.

  • To ensure that all Health and Safety rules and procedures within the department are adhered to at all times.

  • The working area is a safe environment for other employees and visitors.



Skills and Experience:



  • Excellent written and verbal English required due to customer communications.

  • A good communicator to all levels of staff, who will be able to collaborate efficiently with many different teams.

  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

  • Qualifications and education to a good standard.

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-moving business, to be able to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

  • A good people person.

  • High level organisational skills with great attention to detail.
