Digital and Social Media Marketing Assistant


Taunton, Somerset


SALARY: £20K PA


HOURS: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

THE ROLE: To produce social media content that people enjoy reading and feel compelled to share.


KEY DUTIES:



  • Supporting the Marketing department in the administration of the delivery of effective marketing projects and campaigns that achieve company objectives.

  • Ensuring regular engaging social media initiatives are uploaded that engages with followers.

  • Promoting audience interaction and driving brand awareness (paying special attention to articulating the benefits of company products and services).

  • Day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support.

  • Connecting with key influencers by creating content that continually attracts audience.

  • Assisting to bring issues to life through compelling human stories.

  • Monitoring site analytics to maximise engagement and fine tune accordingly.

  • Helping manage video content, including video notices, 'How-to", FAQs, testimonials and product feature videos.

  • Promoting customer satisfaction by forwarding all enquiries and comments, and ensuring they are responded to in a timely and appropriate manner.


THE CANDIDATE:



  • Prior experience with Social Media & Digital Marketing.

  • Experience using social media in a business context, particularly Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

  • Competent in social media content development.

  • Excellent administration, oral and written communication skills.

  • Proactive, creative and flexible with a can-do attitude.

  • Strong attention to detail, capable of working to tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

  • A keen visual eye.
