Key Responsibilities:



  • Receiving of Goods into the warehouse and accurate booking in onto Sage system making sure that the packing lists match the orders and all Quantities, Lot/Batch numbers and expiry dates are recorded.

  • Ensuring all Temperature controlled stock is stored in fridges on arrival.

  • Making sure all deliveries are QC checked and scanned in compliance with the FMD.

  • Effective communication with other departments regarding goods inwards. Reporting Damages, missing and incorrect stock issues to the relevant persons.

  • Make sure stock is located into warehouse locations and these locations are recorded onto warehouse stock spreadsheet.

  • Ensure controlled drugs are placed in locked cabinet location on arrival.

  • Ensure all goods are picked/packed and shipped on time, in Full and in accordance with customer requirements.

  • Make sure that plenty of passive packaging is used to prevent movement of stock and damages whilst in transit.

  • All orders are double checked, making sure of Quantity, Lot/Batch numbers and expiry dates are correct.

  • Making sure that all chilled stock is packed securely within the required fridge box for transportation.

  • Effective communication with other departments regarding any dispatching issues.

  • Booking online courier and palletised collections.

  • Uphold good housekeeping control ensuring warehouse area is always kept clean and tidy in accordance with SOP.

  • Ensure fridge temperature checks are performed throughout the day and reporting any temperature excursions to Operations Manager or RP.

  • Carry out good Health and Safety practice whilst carrying daily duties.

  • Ensure all work equipment including pallet trucks, Bubble wrapper, tape guns and packing Knives are maintained.

  • Ensure all quarantined stock is placed in quarantine area.

  • Maintain high levels of site security.

  • Forklift truck maintained on a regular basis.


Candidate Requirements:



  • Previous warehouse experience desired.

  • Good level of English and Maths required.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy essential.

  • Good timekeeping and punctuality required.

  • Current Forklift truck licence desired.

  • Basic Excel skills required
