The Role


To execute the day-to-day management of the demand planning and inbound operation, to ensure accuracy, visibility and consistency in inbound volumes and specific demand plans which aim to eradicate Out of Stocks and meet customer fulfilment and delivery needs


Responsible



  • Maintain the rolling forecast plan, including monthly statistics on sales, inbound receiving and months' of holding inventory and report back the status and KPI's on a regular basis to the UK and US, working towards the prevention of Out Of Stock and meeting the fulfillment and delivery needs of our customers

  • Consolidate the forecast needs from all the sales and marketing teams, flagging risks to need as soon as they arise, including events, specials and marketing orders

  • Build "Holding" inventory into the forecast plan and ensure the plus and minus tolerances are maintained. Provide regular reporting on the compliance and variances

  • Share and update the necessary teams on the forecast status, compliances and risks

  • Work closely with the Global Demand Planning teams to ensure changes to the plans are communicated effectively and the impact understood, escalating to the Directors as and when necessary

  • Create route cause analysis on missed volume and potential sales

  • Create ad-hoc reports on inbound variances and SKU, country and customer trends

  • Input POs for all inbound shipments into QuickBooks, ensuring the paperwork is accurate and correct. Escalating to Finance as soon as discrepancies are found

  • Checking for milestone visibility compliance on all Inbound shipments, ensuring the business are aware of PO creation, vessel bookings, shipment to UK status and arrivals and receipt into SeaSpace



Experience



  • Proven forecasting and demand planning experience in an FMCG industry

  • Advanced excel skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent analysis abilities

  • Strives under pressure and welcomes challenges

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Resilient and self-motivated

  • Previous experience in the Beauty industry preferred however the retail sector is a must.
