Role: Debt Recovery Officer

Location: Sidcup

Salary: 23k

Hours: 35 Hours per Week between 8am - 8pm

We have teamed up with one of our clients based in Sidcup looking to recruit for a Debt Recovery Officer to join the former tenant's team. This position is suitable for someone who has excellent customer service skills. You will be part of an enthusiastic and vibrant team and a company who is passionate about the happiness and well being on their employees.   • Provide excellent Customer Service to all internal and external Customers, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Income Department

  • Managing your own portfolio of accounts, ensuring within your customers there is a reduction of arrears, cash collection performance is maximised, and bad debt minimised, using all available communication methods

  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, creating effective and professional relationships that enable you to respond and resolve to debt related queries

  • Undertaking a range of administrative

Person specification:

  • Experienced in delivering excellent customer service in a demanding environment

  • Excellent telephone communications skills

  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks based on importance and urgency

  • Experience in collections/credit control is desirable

  • Ability to prioritise tasks

  • Self-motivated

  • Attention to detail
