Data Officer

Office Angels Staines is currently seeking a Data Officer to work in a school in Northolt. You do not need to have worked in a school before but it would be an advantage. This is an important role, you will be using Data to improve the performance of the school.

This will be an ongoing temporary position, with the potential to go permanent. This role is to start immediately and has onsite parking.

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Term time only

A day in the life of your new role:

  • Lead and be accountable for the effective use of the SIMS Assessment, Examinations, and Timetabling systems

  • Maintain/monitor assessment manager area of SIMS

  • Lead sessions with teachers on how they can develop their use of data to enhance teaching

  • Design and set up complex templates in response to the data needs of School Leaders

  • Provide summary analyses of student reports

  • Lead in the development and maintenance of the school's management information systems

  • Design and Lead on all tracking of pupil performance across the school and overseeing the behaviour management system including merits

  • Manage the collation of subject data on a termly basis and presenting to the team

  • Designing and implementing new operating, collection, and design systems to meet new accountability measures

  • To lead on the development and production of the school timetable

  • To Lead on the strategic development of the use of data in school and the implementation of systems to support this

  • To collate and analyse a wide range of school data

  • Prepare weekly and annual attendance and merits reports

  • Undertake privacy risk assessments for any new systems with the Business and Finance Manager
