Our client, a wonderful charity based in Holborn, is seeking an experienced data entry assistant to join their admin team on a temporary basis.


In this role, you will be processing donations and scanning/entering them onto the database using electronic data management software. You will also perform other administrative duties, including issuing acknowledgements, assisting with donor queries, filing and other ad hoc tasks.

Pay: £13.15 per hour


Duties



  • Process day to day receipts of donations accurately and efficiently

  • Send out acknowledgement of donations

  • Maintain electronic and manual filing systems

  • Deal with queries relating to the donations processed.


Skills & Experience


Essential:



  • Educated to GCSE / A-level

  • Ability to perform and meet strict deadlines

  • Ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of MS office suite

  • Good numerical skills and accuracy

  • Attention to detail

  • Proven experience in data entry of high volume processing


Desired:



  • Experience working in a busy office environment

  • Previous experience in the charity sector

  • Knowledge and understanding of HMRC gift aid rules

  • Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection riles

  • Familiarity with CRM systems

  • Familiarity with data capture software
