Customer Supply Chain Administrator

Office Angels are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Supply Chain Administrator on behalf of a manufacturing company based in South Lanarkshire. Due to the rural location you will need your own means of transport.

The role is a fixed term contract for a period of 8 months and we will only be shortlisting candidates who are able to fully commit to the duration of the contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, friendly and dynamic company within a busy department. The successful candidate will have a previous background in supply chain/sales administration and be able to proficiently use all MS Office packages.

The Opportunity: -

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Customer Supply Chain team to support the department in ensure customer care levels are maintained and to assist with order processing.

You will need to comfortable working to targets and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.

How your day will look: -

  • High volume and accurate order processing

  • Building relationships with customers and keeping in regular contact regarding requirements

  • Liaising with the warehouse to ensure orders are processed within agreed SLA

  • Organising daily shipments and liaising with couriers

  • Producing customer invoices

  • Dealing with customer queries and troubleshooting any logistics or order issues

  • Working closely with the sales team regarding orders and stock management

  • On-going business support across departments

  • Preparation and collation of sales reports

  • Processing credit notes

  • Expediting customer samples


  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Personal motivation and enthusiasm

  • Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the business

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
