Job Title: Customer Service Scheduler


Location: Near Hythe (your own transport is required due to the location of the company)


Salary: £23k-£25k


Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm, 20 days annual leave+bank holidays, free parking

Key responsibilities within your next job would be to:



  • administer the Customer Service function, liaise with customers to schedule service & repair work for engineers within the UK & Europe

  • Process department related paperwork

  • Deliver an excellent customer experience every time

  • Achieve monthly shipment goals as forecasted using tools and resources available

  • Schedule 10 engineers work 4 - 6 weeks in advance all the time

  • Contact customers by telephone to arrange suitable timings for maintenance and repair work

  • Work with your designated customer service engineers to produce efficient, effective schedules of work

  • Follow departmental and company processes and procedures

  • Process of engineer's time sheets, expense and vehicle reports

  • Manage and process completed work through to invoice stage

  • Raise repair quotations

  • Obtain relevant customer contact information for renewal maintenance agreements

  • Work with Service Sales to identify service leads

  • Contribute to building relationships with other areas of the business to support the overall business objectives


Experience and skills required:



  • Previous scheduling experience is essential

  • Excellent Geographical knowledge of the UK

  • Excellent customer service

  • Our client is also seeking someone who is proactive, with a positive attitude to resolve issues, generate ideas and make suggestions for improvements
