Full-time 37.5 hours a week

Our client, a well-established and thriving local logistics service provider, is looking to recruit a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will have experience and transferable skills within a previous administration role and be a confident individual with high attention to detail, good communication skills, and organised.


The role:



  • Take responsibility for the acceptance and execution of the orders, including necessary administration (from order to invoice)

  • Answer all your customer's queries, handles compliments and complaints, solves problems, implements new lanes, and executes financial and operational analyses to support continuous improvements

  • Provide creative transport solutions, always looking for opportunities to up-sell and ensure the customer is fully aware of all products/services

  • You will be agile, constantly switching between customer service, managing orders, liaising with operations, discussing developments in sales, and working on improvements

  • To be reliable and dependable

  • Deal with telephone enquiries promptly referring the query to the appropriate person when the enquiry falls outside own knowledge and experience

  • Undertake general administration


To be successful in this role, you will:



  • Computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite

  • An energetic and positive attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
