JOB TITLE: Customer Service and Sales Advisor

LOCATION: Plymouth

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

SALARY: £19, 000 - £20, 000 Per Annum Dependent on Experience

THE COMPANY: This training and consultancy company, who are nationally recognised for their outstanding client service, are looking for a new member to join their friendly team in Plymouth. Established for many years, this company delivers a range of services across a number of industries and has an impressive portfolio of clients across the country.

THE ROLE: Working within the Sales and Customer Service Team you will account manage a number of your own clients. be the first point of contact for existing and new clients, providing a welcoming and professional service. You will also liaise with internal teams regarding client requirements helping to resolve all issues and queries.


  • Account managing existing clients to ensure an excellent level of service is provided and all needs and requirements are understood and met

  • Processing new bookings

  • Having an in depth knowledge of the company's products and services in order to upsell to new and prospective clients

  • Building a strong working relationship with your clients

  • Calling lapsed and prospective clients to ascertain any current training needs

  • Contacting clients to ascertain feedback


  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Excellent customer service and client care

  • Ability to build a rapport with clients and provide an excellent level of service

  • Ability to work to targets

  • Initiative and can do approach to work

  • Ability to work independently

  • Good computer skills (including Microsoft word and database management)
