Customer Service Advisor

20k - £22k per annum + Quarterly Performance Bonus
Chelmsford, Essex
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or 8:30am-5:30pm

*MUST be a car driver due to the location of the business

As one of our Customer Service Advisors, you will be reporting directly to the Customer Service Team Leader and your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Responding to customer enquiries as the first point of contact from a variety of channels including, phone, email, web, and internal systems

  • Working closely with the Transport Planners in order to ensure customers are getting the service they have been promised

  • Providing clear and concise responses to all enquiries and ensuring all information given is correct and accurate

  • Resolving customer issues in a timely manner or where necessary escalating issues following an internal process to get the best resolution for the customer

  • Providing reactive and proactive support to increase customer retention

  • Managing and resolving issues raised via the case management system

  • Ensuring all missed calls are called back

  • Dealing with customer complaints professionally

  • Providing ETAs and servicing history to customers when requested

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to use own initiative and work under pressure, be very organised, efficient and can multitask.
