Customer Service Administrator - Immediate Start

JOB TITLE: Temporary to Permanent Customer Service Administrator - Immediate Start

LOCATION: Honiton, Devon

SALARY: £18,500 - £19,000 PA (DOE)

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 17:00pm

BENEFITS: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension, bonus scheme and death in service benefit plus a friendly welcoming team and free on-site parking.

THE ROLE: We are recruiting for a pro-active and driven Customer Service Administrator to join a successful and friendly team in Honiton. This is initially a temporary role with the view to become permanent after 12 weeks, for the right candidate. You will be the initial point of contact for all operational department customers ensuring that detailed and accurate information is inputted into sales orders and sales contracts prior to completion of a job.

Key duties will include:

  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face

  • Generate outgoing calls, emails and mailshots to identify new business opportunities

  • Confirming timings and requirements with departments and ensuring timely delivery of requested services and liaising back to the customer with confirmations/delays etc

  • Provide and report duty of care information, where requested.

  • Proactively assist customers with their requirements to ensure a service level that is satisfactory to the customer

  • Monitor and update all Sales Orders

  • Collate the missing information that is required to complete a contract

  • Any other project work as required from time to time

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be available for an immediate start, be able to work in a fast paced and busy environment and work well as part of a team. You must be strongly motivated to learn and develop professionally. You will have excellent customer care skills (telephone and written) and prior experience within an office based customer service role.

DESIRABLE: Previous experience within an office environment.
