JOB TITLE: Customer Service Administrator


LOCATION: Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire


SALARY: £18,000 - £24,000 PA DOE (Prior insurance experience required to achieve top end of salary bracket)


HOURS: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch break)

The Role: Working in a small team of 6 you will proactively manage and settle a portfolio of insurance claims, while providing a market leading standard of service to customers and other stakeholders. If you enjoy working in an experienced, small and friendly team and you would like to progress in an administrative / customer service / office environment then this is an ideal opportunity for you.


Key duties will include (full training provided on commencement of employment):



  • To effectively and efficiently key on claims and establish first contact with policyholders in accordance with each clients Service Level Agreements.

  • To ensure all phone calls are answered in a timely manner and maintain high levels of phone availability.

  • To accurately record all complaints received on receipt and ensure that all appropriate customer communication is issued (SRC , holding letters or FRL letters) with any relevant reporting to client using the clients preferred reporting process.

  • To pursue surveyors to ensure their compliance with company SLAs

  • To complete second call tasks and review claims that are on hold to actively push these through the claims journey.

  • To flag any sightcall claims appropriately on the system and ensure these are accurately signposted to the surveyors.

  • Promote customer use of TrackMyClaim on the initial call to the customer and throughout the claim.

  • From time to time you will be expected to carry out other duties and special projects in addition to key roles and responsibilities to suit business needs.


The Person:


If you are a true people person who excels is delivering exceptional customer service then we want to hear from you. You will be a confident communicator with a clear and polite telephone manner. You will need to maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with client information, therefore discretion is key. You will be comfortable using a computer and familiar with MS Office packages. Ultimately, you will want to work for a company that really invests in its employees and work successfully in a team environment. Prior experience in an administrative / customer service position within an office is required. Prior experience in insurance would be highly beneficial, however, full training will be provided on services and products.
