Fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic Customer Sales Executive to join a leading distribution organisation in the industry.


JOB TITLE: Customer Sales Executive


LOCATION: Axminster, Devon


SALARY: £26,000 - £28,000 PA DOE


HOURS: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday (1 x half an hour unpaid lunchbreak and 2 x 15 minute paid breaks)


Our client is passionate about their products and is committed to providing exceptional customer service around the sale of their products. As a Customer Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting their growth strategy and maintaining strong relationships with their customer base.


Key responsibilities:



  • Conduct both inbound and outbound calls, as well as communicate via email, to drive revenue growth.


    • Outbound calls will be made up of 80% warm / existing clients and 20% to an existing client base of lapsed accounts.


  • Manage existing customer accounts, from taking orders to identifying upselling opportunities and promoting new products.

  • Generate new leads and pass them on to the sales team.

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, orders, and other relevant information for easy access by the team.

  • Gather feedback on promotional activities and customer experiences to share with the team.

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the client's portfolio, including production, history, brands, industry trends, and profiles.


Required skills and qualifications:



  • Proven experience as a sales representative or in a similar sales / customer service role, with a track record of meeting sales quotas over the phone.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both over the phone and in writing.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other business platforms.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Full driving licence.
