Customer Co-Ordinator

Office Angels - Edinburgh have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Co-Ordinator to join an established team with a network across Scotland.


Hours of work are: 8:30am to 5.00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).


Salary: £21-22,000 depending on previous experience.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a reactive role and must be confident handling incoming queries and working to strict deadlines. You will a naturally organised and helpful individual with an excellent telephone manner.


What you'll do:




  • Receiving service calls who require assistance with their devices or are needing to order consumables

  • Allocating works to the team of field maintenance engineers & IT support specialists

  • Monitoring and reporting on response times to ensure service obligations are met

  • Provide outstanding customer service to customers by telephone and email.

  • Organising calls for engineers to meet response times

  • Driving the work through to completion

  • Liaise with engineers and suppliers regarding works and ensure customers are kept up to date.

  • Have a strong knowledge of products and the ability to offer solutions to problems and issues raised by clients.

  • First point of contact for inbound calls from clients/engineers and answering enquiries

  • Administration duties to support the sales team

  • Liaise with various departments to ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner

  • Ensure databases and client information is accurate and up to date

  • Working alongside the team to ensure agree service levels are met



What you'll need:




  • Proficiency with all products in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)

  • Accurate typing skills

  • A knowledge of the central belt of Scotland and the geography will be helpful in planning calls and routes effectively and you will be aided by a vehicle tracker system.

  • Ability to use initiative and problem solving to meet customer deadlines.

  • Customer oriented attitude

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivation and a high work rate coupled with the ability to work on own initiative and think on your feet
