Job Title: Credit Controller


Location: Brighton (Hybrid Working)


Salary: £28K - £30K


Hours: 9am - 5pm

Our client, a leading organisation in the finance industry, is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in managing and reconciling client payments, building strong relationships with clients and insurers, and ensuring compliance with regulations.


Responsibilities:



  • Handle premium payments to insurers with precision and timeliness.

  • Prioritise tasks efficiently, swiftly address any issues, and collaborate with team members to resolve problems.

  • Provide exceptional service to clients and insurers, strengthening relationships and streamlining processes.

  • Work closely with clients, insurers, and brokers to accurately and promptly reconcile accounts.

  • Manage any escalated issues, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in tracking systems.

  • Support team members as needed and assist with additional tasks on occasion.

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude that aligns with our client's values.


Requirements:



  • A basic understanding of insurance principles and client money regulations.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and our client's internal software.

  • Strong numerical skills and exceptional organisational abilities.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

  • A team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and effective communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage time efficiently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of cash collection and payment processes is a plus.
