The role - Credit Controller - FTC (12 months)
Location - Glasgow City Centre (West) - Hybrid Working
Hours - Full-time
Salary - £24-27.5K depending on experience


Office Angels are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys call handling and can work as a team to achieve debt collection targets.  

This is a great opportunity to join a client, with an enviable reputation within their sector, for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.

We will only be shortlisting candidates who can commit to the entirety of the contract.

The role is full-time with standard working hours of 9.00-17.00 but for the right candidate some flexibility will be considered. During the training period you will be fully office based but on completion you will have the option to work from home 2-3 days a week.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is more than comfortable handling calls, can be assertive and understanding during difficult telephone conversations and has a drive to contribute to the success of the team. 

Duties:- 

* Carrying out credit control calls 
* Chasing debt through e-mail & letter
* Clarifying client information & ensuring accuracy
* Ability to adapt tone of call to suit the situation 
* Dealing with enquiries and resolving issues 
* Recording calls and ensuring the system is up to date 
* Reporting to Senior Management team 
* Building relationships with clients 
* Issue statements, vat receipts & monthly auto fees
* Process card payments
* Raising Invoices & credit notes
* Account reconciliation


Skills:- 

·        Previous experience within credit control
·        Articulate with clear and confident communication skills 
·        Target driven and results orientated 
·        Proven ability to bring difficult situations to a satisfactory conclusion 
·        Experience of using a CRM system 
·        Good administration skills 
·        Multi-tasking and prioritising your workload accordingly 
·        Display an aptitude for negotiating and persuading

The role is based West of Glasgow City Centre with good public transport links nearby.
