SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 dependant upon experience

The Corporate Administrator will work under the guidance of the Director of Operations & Company Secretary to:



  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary, in particular by acting as the secretariat to the Board of Governors, relevant Board committees, the Executive Management Committee (EMC), and relevant working groups;

  • Contribute to efforts to ensure that Governors and EMC members have the tools and information to be effective leaders

  • Support colleagues to develop and maintain systems and processes for maintaining key documentation relating to regulatory and legal requirements in the UK and around the world.


The Corporate Administrator will play an important and vital role within the Corporate division, providing efficient coordination and administrative support. The Corporate Administrator will be expected to perform a variety of tasks and act as a liaison between the company and the offices of Governors and other key stakeholders.


Typical Duties


Administrative support:



  • Work with the Company Secretary to manage administrative preparations for the Board and relevant Committee meetings, including scheduling, collation and uploading of papers, preparation and circulation of Board or Committee packs, venue, etc.

  • Prepare and disseminate dates of Board and relevant Committee meetings, forward plans, meeting notes, and papers as required.

  • Take responsibility for ensuring that matters arising/action points from meetings are followed-up

  • Liaise with Governors or their offices in relation to the logistical arrangements associated with visits and participation in company activities

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer as required from time to time, including arranging travel and meetings as required, and as a flexible resource to other EMC members as time allows.

  • Deliver day-to-day office support tasks, including administering mail and courier services.


Tools and information:



  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Director of Operations and the Finance Director in the preparation of the Annual Plan and Budget

  • Drawing on existing company management information, develop and regularly collate management information in the form of dashboards and reports to enable the Executive Management Committee, Board, and/or the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, as the company sponsor department, to monitor and drive performance and delivery.


Skills, Experience and Knowledge


Essential



  • At least 3 years' administration experience preferably servicing CEO, Director, senior executive level.

  • Experience clerking Boards/ committees.

  • Demonstrable experience of developing or improving basic systems and processes for managing corporate or regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Exceptional planning and organisation skills and experience working to a high degree of accuracy.

  • Highly organised, with extensive logistic management experience.

  • Social media savvy.

  • Solid written - drafting, research, proofreading - skills.

  • Personable, confident communicating across the organisation.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and effectively plan and organise own workloads.

  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite of Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Dynamics)
