Construction Administrator
£20,000 - £25,000 per annum
Grays, Essex
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm

My client, a growing construction business based in Grays, Essex is seeking a Construction Administrator to join their purchasing team due to expansion on a permanent basis.
Assisting a team of Buyers daily, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Scheduling and coordinating deliveries of goods and services
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of orders and transactions
- Researching potential vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality and cost requirements
- Preparing reports and presentations to present to management
- Assisting with the evaluation of bids and proposals
- Dealing with invoices
- Raising orders
- Liaising with suppliers and sites regularly
- Providing general administrative support to the procurement and plant department as needed
The ideal candidate:
- Some previous administration experience preferred
- An interest in the construction industry essential
- An eagerness to learn and progress within a business
- Experience using Microsoft Office packages essential, including Excel
- Strong organisational skills required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills essential
