Job Advert: Compliance Consultant


Salary: This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive annual salary ranging from £25,000 to £27,000, depending on experience and qualifications.


Location: Remote Working (occasional trips to the London Office)



The Role:


Our client, a leading Recruitment organisation, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Consultant to join their team.   • Liaise with candidates to obtain and verify right to work and identity check documentation in line with client requirements and business process manual.

  • Gather the appropriate information for history and reference checks for all candidates.

  • Collate and process all candidate pre-employment checks to ensure they are fully compliant with the internal processes and Employment legislation.

  • Submit and track all candidate pre-employment checks.

  • Take first line responsibility for all queries and status updates for all pre-employment checks to ensure completed within required timeframes.

  • Perform audits in accordance with the Adecco business process manual.

  • Schedule and attend on-site training with internal teams.

  • Assist internal team colleagues to ensure that the maximum number of pre-employment checks are complete, and candidates start work as required.

  • Assist line manager in ensuring adherence to the Company policies and procedures and that administration is completed in accordance with these procedures and in line with Client requirements.

  • Carry out such other reasonable duties as are required by your line manager or the senior management team. Attend all relevant training courses as required, residential or otherwise to improve both personal and onsite performance.

  • Establish and maintain goodwill with all internal team colleagues and Associates.




Key Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in compliance within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:




  • You must have previous recruitment/basic H.R experience or similar key attributes.

  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external customers

  • Good verbal and written communications skills

  • Time management, prioritisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines

  • Ability to work equally well on own initiative or a contributing team member

  • Demonstrates a flexible approach to the working day

  • Good knowledge of MS office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn new systems
