Job Title: Compliance Administrator (Senior Assistant) - 6 month contract

Location: Bristol City Centre

Salary: 35k

Hours: Full time

Benefits: Full training, Pension, Annual leave 25 days + BH

My client a global consultancy is currently looking for a Compliance Administrator to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Compliance and would be responsible for ensuring all UK business and operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies and standards

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

  • Collating and analysing compliance data & preparing monthly monitoring Programme reports

  • Conducting 2nd line compliance reviews

  • Submitting any necessary ad hoc reports and required regular periodic reports to the Head of UK Compliance

  • Assistance with administration tasks, filing of documents and data input, and ad-hoc compliance checks

  • GAP analysis of regulatory requirements for a single UK compliance manual and between Group and local office policies

  • Assisting in projects to remedy deficiencies identified in the application of compliance procedures

  • Assist and promote compliance procedures in relation to the companies anti-money laundering procedures and responding to staff queries

Experience and skills required for this position:

  • Track record of experience of best practice risk and governance frameworks, methodologies and emerging practice in the UK (FCA/HMRC/ICAEW)

  • 2 years Audit, Risk, Legal and/or Compliance or other relevant experience

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • High degree of professional integrity

  • Ability to work on own and manage busy workload

  • Good time management/prioritisation of tasks

  • Good command of Office software and other related computer skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • World-Check experience would be highly advantageous
