We are working with a greatly respected organisation in Newton Abbot who are seeking a Compliance & Admin Supervisor to provide reliable, high quality support to the Governance and Compliance department and organisation Directors.


JOB TITLE: Compliance & Admin Supervisor


LOCATION: Newton Abbot


SALARY: £25,000 per annum plus bonus


HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm


BENEFITS: 20 days holiday rising to 25 days, bonus opportunities, contributory pension, pay day team lunches, friendly and sociable team


THE COMPANY AND ROLE: Our client is an independent specialist healthcare company, who is rapidly expanding across the South West. It is a great time to join such a fantastic team! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive assistance to the Managing Directors, as well as leading the Governance and Compliance Administration within the organisation, to help ensure the delivery of an efficient and quality service.


This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that would suit someone from a health or social care background looking for an exciting new challenge within a welcoming and reputable business.


KEY DUTIES:



  • Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team including booking meetings, taking accurate meeting minutes and distributing accordingly, producing and distributing reports

  • Producing documents, spreadsheets and reports as required, and maintaining databases and other records, ensuring that documents and files are up-to-date

  • Undertaking a range of governance activities ensuring that quality standards are met

  • Ensuring accurate recording of data and evidencing audits

  • Communicating and providing information to enable strategic decision-making by others

  • Participating in meetings as required

  • Reviewing templates and processes in partnership with leadership team

  • Monitoring training requirements within the organisation and ensuring timely uptake and completion by staff in line with requirements

  • Tracking and recording of task and project completion

  • Ensuring organisation adherence to Quality Assurance policies, processes, and procedures

  • Support continuous quality improvement across the organisation

  • Developing effective administration processes whilst maintaining the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and reliability


THE CANDIDATE:



  • Experience in a similar role delivering efficient administrative and governance support at a senior level

  • Experience in a health or social care setting would be advantageous, as well as knowledge of CQC

  • Highly organised, task focused and able to monitor and achieve deadlines

  • Confident decision maker

  • Professional attitude to work and experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information

  • Able to understand the commercial objectives of the service and demonstrate consideration of these as actions and decisions are taken in the running of the office

  • Able to function independently and effectively in a fast paced, dynamic and rapidly changing environment

  • Highly competent with IT systems
