Company Secretarial Administrator


Based in central Preston, my very successful client is on the lookout for an experienced Company Secretarial Business Administrator who has worked autonomously managing company clientele effectively with high attention to detail to join their Accounting firm and provide technical company secretarial guidance to colleagues. The role entails:

  • Preparing and filing of Confirmation Statements and other documentation to Companies House on behalf of a large portfolio of clients

  • Handling the formation of companies

  • Assisting with share reorganisation filings at Companies House

  • General housekeeping of our Company Secretarial software and database, ensuring fully up to date and compliant with regulations

  • Being the main point of contact for technical queries on Company Secretarial matters within a team of administrators

  • Responsible for invoicing of work completed by the Company Secretarial team

  • Completing all tasks in a timely manner, within agreed SLA's and dealing with urgent matters as they arise

  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person

  • Answering phones and dealing with queries

  • Ad-hoc assistance to team members and providing administration support for the firm

My client is looking for:

  • Someone with previous experience of performing company secretarial services on behalf of a large number of clients in a professional services setting

  • Knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities of a Company Secretary

  • Strong administration, organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage time efficiently

  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to listen to the needs of the business

  • Good understanding of MS office (Outlook, Word & Excel)

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills - good standard of education in Maths and English

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, partners, colleagues and staff.

  • Professional telephone and personal manner.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to demonstrate initiative

  • Motivated and pro-active person

  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

  • Strong team player who is flexible and professional

This role is a full time permanent position.

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm

WFH flexibility

Salary - £24,000 - £26,000 (dependent on candidate experience)
