Our client, based in the heart of Westminster are looking for an experienced Communications and Administrative Support Officer to join their team as soon as possible.


As a candidate, you will be available immediately (no notice period) able to commit to a minimum of three months and be confident working in a fast paced, dynamic team. This is a crucial role to the organisation so our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be a team player and excellent attention to detail.

Role: Communications and Administrative Support Officer



HOURS: 10am - 4pm



SALARY: £16- £19 Per hour



LOCATION: London, Westminster



CULTURE: Professional, busy and friendly.



KEY RESPONSIBLITIES




  • Editing pages on the company websites and uploading content, including press releases (training will be provided)

  • Christmas advert: finding and booking venues for filming

  • National online services: reviewing content for accuracy; booking in services for 2023

  • Drafting the weekly Media Advisory

  • Newsletter support - compiling, updating mailing lists, creating new templates (training will be given)

  • Monitoring the company inboxes and alerting members of the team as needed:

  • Diary coordination for the wider team and arranging meetings as needed

  • Booking press conference equipment/catering

  • Accrediting journalists for media events.




PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES




  • Good written communication skills

  • Ability to work quickly and produce accurate work, with an eye for detail

  • Proficient user of Office 365 apps.

  • Previous experience in a busy Communications (or similar) team

  • Experience of a customer service / customer-facing role


Experience of using digital communications channels in a professional capacity
