JOB TITLE: Commercial Administrator


LOCATION: This role will be based initially in the companies Launceston office, before moving to Plymouth from March 2022.


HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm


SALARY: £20, 000 per annum


BENEFITS: 23 days annual leave, pension, onsite parking & generous bonus


THE COMPANY AND ROLE: This well-known company, with nationwide coverage, is a market leader in the new homes industry, committed to the highest standards of design, construction and service. Given the companies continued growth, the Commercial Team are now seeking an administrator to support with their daily activities.


This is a new role which you can really make your own! You will support a friendly team of 10 with all things admin, from data entry and management of payments to minute taking and dairy management.


YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:



  • Assist and support the department with general administration such as typing letters, filing & photocopying

  • Manage departmental physical post & generic e-mail accounts

  • Data entry, management of spreadsheets and supply chain database

  • Minute taking and distribution of notes for departmental meetings

  • Issuing of meeting agendas

  • Diary management

  • Assist with routine subcontract payments

  • Assist with document management & tracking


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:



  • Experience in a similar role, supporting a team, is advantageous but not essential

  • A team player

  • Accurate data entry

  • Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office

  • Someone who is methodical and numerate and accurate in their work

  • Ability to prioritise

  • A positive approach to work with a can do and professional attitude
