Location: Cambridge

Salary: £23,000

Days/ Hour of work: Monday-Friday - 09:00 - 5:30

The company

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established and forward-thinking organisation in their Operations team as a Client Service Assistant. The Client Service Assistant will be based in the Cambridge office with very occasional travel to other regional offices. We are looking for candidates who have a friendly nature, who will welcome the clients who visit the office in a professional and courteous manner.


  • Maintain and monitor stationery requirements

  • Post duties cover, including all incoming and outgoing couriers

  • Cover reception from time to time and meet and greet clients, staff and visitors to reception

  • Booking meeting rooms

  • Answer the telephone in a professional and timely manner

  • Scanning/photocopying/binding as required

  • Ensure the office is presented to a high standard at all times particularly the communal and client facing areas

  • Ad-hoc duties as required (i.e. going to get milk and provisions)

  • Ensure the appropriate health and safety procedures are followed such as the fire procedure

  • Assist with general administration tasks.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience in either administration, customer service, retail, or hospitality

  • Positive attitude

  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Organised

  • Great Customer Service Skills

  • Proactive

  • Professional

  • Can-do attitude
