JOB TITLE: Client Relationship Administrator (Legal & Collections)

LOCATION: Exeter (beautiful outskirts) and work from home option - up to 4 days out of 5!

SALARY: £25,000 PA

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

THE COMPANY: Office Angels Exeter are currently recruiting for an exciting position to join a prestigious Finance company on the outskirts of Exeter, with easy access from the M5 and Exeter. Working in their modern offices in a highly desirable location which is perfect for running and bike riding at lunch or likewise making the most of the cafe / retail facilities.

THE ROLE: The role of the Client Relationship Administrator (Legal & Collections) is based within the Legal and Collections department and is a highly varied and interesting role.

We are looking for an excellent communicator, with a strong eye for detail, whose duties will include proactively managing a caseload comprising of lease agreements that have fallen into arrears with monthly contractual rentals, whilst ensuring FCA and company guidelines are followed to achieve the desired solution. Alongside this, you will manage all related administration, checking contracts, speaking to clients, bank administration, updating and maintaining systems, and other general administrative duties as required within the department.


The successful candidate will be working closely with the other members of the team and the Legal Manager. You will be developed to work autonomously and be empowered to make day to day decisions on the caseload in line with experience gained.

You will need to have a commercial awareness, which could be from a variety of experience, you must have an ability to problem solve, and will be trained to ensure a sound understanding of the framework of a lease agreement, contractual liability arising under that agreement, and be able to communicate this to ensure pro-active case management.

  • Excellent communication skills - The role includes the predominant use of telephone and email communication to a high professional standard with the use of both template letters and drafting of your own letters as required.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload throughout the day to maintain consistent standards.

  • To have a high level of self-motivation and a 'can-do attitude', and ability to also work as part of a team

  • Ability to manage the team caseload and maintain communication within the team

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and Outlook (however, additional training will be given where required)

  • Be adaptable

  • A sense of humour!
