Claims Handler

Purpose of the Role


To competently provide administration duties within compliant guidelines.


To deal with consumer claims, meeting service standards in order to provide a speedy, fair and efficient service to the customers.


Skills and Knowledge Required


Technical knowledge to use Computer system competently


Technical knowledge & understanding of policy wording/T's & C's


Customer Service Skills


Good telephone techniques


Analytical and numerate


Responsibilities


Responsible for the investigation & processing of claims including claim reviews


Responsible for the administration of Warranty claims


Responsible for Data Processing/Post etc on a rota basis.


Responsible for liaising with policyholders regarding changes to address, policy details etc


Filing & general office duties
