Part Time Admin Opportunity - Okehampton!


This role would suit someone with an accounts admin or insurance background or a strong administrator with excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills!



JOB TITLE: Claims Administrator


LOCATION: Okehampton (with some opportunity to work from home)


HOURS: 24 hours per week across 3 days, with the option to pick up additional hours


DURATION: 12 months (December start)


SALARY: £20, 000 - £23, 000 per annum dependent on experience pro rata



THE COMPANY AND ROLE: This not-for-profit organisation specialise in offering expert advice to rural businesses across the South West. They are looking or an admin assistant to join their small claims team to support with a 12 month project. You will work to support local businesses through the claims process, assisting with applications, completion and submission of claims forms, enquiries etc. Full training will be given for this role, but it would very much suit someone who is accurate and meticulous in their work and who is confident with numbers.



YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:



  • Support businesses and organisations with the funding claims process and any associated forms, alterations and special requests

  • Provide advice and guidance on the process

  • Support with completion of claims forms and submit these on clients behalf

  • Check funding applications for compliance

  • Support clients with alterations to funding requests

  • Completing the claims process admin

  • Logging funding applications on the system



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:



  • Accuracy and attention to detail is key with the ability to identify error and discrepancies

  • Strong numeracy skills

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel

  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information

  • Someone who is methodical and numerate, and accurate in their work

  • Ability to prioritise

  • Someone who is process driven
