Location: Ashford (Office and home based)

Salary: £24k-£30k DOE

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours, Flexible

As a Claims Account Manager you'll be:

Supporting the team to manage a portfolio of clients helping them with their claim by writing reports via Research & Development schemes. You must be able to develop a good working relationship with clients, Accountants and other partners and be scrupulously polite even when they are extremely difficult or pedantic.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare the narrative for Research & Development reports for clients.

  • Provide the team with other client information needed to complete reports.

  • Contribute to Team targets by achieving the required writing output.

  • Work to develop the technical understanding to facilitate qualifying new clients and conducting technical client interviews.

  • Take ownership of client engagements and work with the wider team to achieve results.

  • Understanding the required quality checks and working with Quality Manager to ensure optimum process efficiency.

  • Take ownership to develop their own technical understanding through Quality Manager training and self-directed learning.

  • Help organise and manage the processes in the company to achieve key targets.

  • Update the CRM system systematically.

Skills and experience required:

  • Impeccable writing skills with a natural flair for descriptive narrative.

  • Engaging clients through effective use of email, phone/video calls as well as in person meetings and committing to the customer's journey.

  • Comfortable talking to business owners and really understanding how we can help them.

  • A good communicator with a thick skin and amazing sense of humour.

  • Ability to learn quickly and keen to develop your own personal skills and knowledge.

  • Able to work quickly and systematically even with conflicting priorities.

  • Happy to make suggestions to improve our service for clients and partners.
