JOB TITLE: Category Coordinator


LOCATION: Cheddar, Somerset. You must be office based Tuesday - Thursday, but there is flexibility to work from home on a Monday and Friday.


SALARY: up to £32,000 DOE


HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)

THE COMPANY: Our client are an award winning, growing business who work with exciting blue chip companies across a variety of industries based all over the world.


THE ROLE: The Category Coordinator, reporting to the Development Team Lead, will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting of category performance and Global community co-ordination. You will be the data focal point for the category as well as supporting the leadership team in developing Category Playbooks and presentations, as and when required.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Complete the clients induction programmes

  • Follow a clear reporting structure to evaluate performance with agreed KPIs provided by the Development Team Lead.

  • Support in the planning & construction of presentations to key stakeholders

  • Schedule Global Community calls every other month & support the Development Team Lead in creating the agenda & content

  • Deliver Category Newsletters quarterly

  • Own monthly data integrity process

  • Produce monthly Performance Snapshot reports with the support of the Data Scientists Team

  • Analyse data and identify opportunities

  • Collate site list updates from all markets on a monthly basis

  • Support in the development of Category Playbooks as and when required

  • Be an advocate for the brand (values, standards, market/category/product extensions)

  • Cover the Development Team Lead when on leave or travelling for work, covering tasks such as:


EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:


Essential Experience:



  • Category management or marketing experience

  • Experience dealing with international customers

  • Retail/Food/Coffee Franchise industry experience


Skills & Behaviour:



  • Strong reporting skills.

  • Strong prioritisation skills.

  • Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Office - Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Highly numerate

  • Able to work both independently and part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Commercial mindset

  • Be flexible regarding working hours as the role involves dealing with customers in different time zones.
