Campaign Data Developer - Available Immediately!

Our client are a Global Publishing Company who publish more than 1,000 journals and 900 new books each year. They are currently looking for a Campaign Data Developer to join their marketing team on a temporary basis.

You will work closely with the Campaign Development Manager and will be responsible for assisting with the scheduling, development and execution of Marketing Communications Campaigns This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an ever growing publishing company, who are super friendly!

SALARY: £12.70 per hour

HOURS: 9:30am to 5:30pm (Remote, you must have your own working environment and laptop!)

LOCATION: Working from home

Key Responsibilities

    • Execute, assists with, and report on digital marketing efforts (i.e., email, digital advertising, website, and social media outreach) to ensure list extractions and HTML and campaign content are delivered accurately, on time, and on budget

    • Contribute to overall campaign strategy

    • Serve as ESP super user

    • Build and optimise automated customer journeys, based on business objectives and strategy

    • Develop HTML creative and manages template production and updates, including collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure templates meet business needs and follow best practices

    • Identify operational improvements and enhancements with campaign workflows

    • Develop and maintain understanding of the who, what, when and why behind the decisions our customers make

    • Report email campaign analytics and insights to drive understanding of how our buyers make buying decisions using the marketing information and content we provide

    • Develop and maintain deep understanding of business needs, marketing goals, and campaign strategies

    • Learns, recommends, and executes new marketing campaign strategies, tactics, and designs

    • Identifies and runs tests to validate effectiveness of new approaches

    • Contributes to best practice recommendations based on campaign performance analysis, industry trends, and technological advancements

Key Skills

    • Experience in database marketing and campaign management, including experience with enterprise technology

    • Working knowledge of database software (SQL, Cognos, SAS, Access)

    • Strong knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver.

    • Knowledge of campaign management best practises and trends.

    • Strong Excel skills

    • Strong attention to detail skills

    • Experience with interactive tools and technology such as Unica.

    • Analytical skills, including quantitative analysis (marketing or financial), reporting, mathematical and statistical skills.

    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts and processes to non-technical staff.

    • Proven problem-solving skills, and proactive efforts in seeking solutions to problems
