Your role and daily responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing training, providing coaching and mentoring for the customer service team

  • Setting KPI's and monitoring performance

  • Day to day leadership and coordination of the Customer Services Team

  • Providing and promoting a professional, high quality, customer focused service to all callers

  • Liaising with all customers, management and other departments to ensure that high standards of service are achieved

  • Establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships to ensure a 'one team approach'

  • Overseeing the team to resolve delivery errors, rolled orders and failed orders and to escalate when required

  • Ensuring a clear knowledge and understanding of team objectives and priorities and how each individual role contributes

The skills and experience our client is looking for:

  • Previous Call Centre Management/Customer Service Management or Team leader experience within a call centre or office environment is essential

  • If you have experience of on-line portals too this would really help

  • A confident individual who is able to attend management meetings and represent the Customer Services Team

  • An individual who can and produce regular reports in a variety of formats

  • An employee who is confident and professional when resolving customer issues and can guide the team to appropriate actions and resolutions where required

  • A Team Leader who will ensure the team meets our Service Level Agreements, policies and procedures

  • An employee who can manage day-to-day tasks but will have a wider view on going project management

  • Someone who will liaise with foreign suppliers in regard to timing and implementation of product promotions and achieve sales targets

The hours of work are Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm 37.5 hours a week, the office is open from 7am and 6pm so flexibility would be ideal during busy periods.

You will be required to work the 2 Easter bank holidays and the August bank holiday due to business requirements however you will receive one full day off in lieu.
