Helpdesk Assistant Wellingborough 9.00- 5.30pm Mon - Fri £19,000 - £24,000

Is this you?

Do you have previous experience in delivering exceptional customer service and organising engineers? Ideally you will be confident, resilient and able to hit the ground running in order to provide technical and administrative support to our clients and engineers.

What will you do?

  • Allocating jobs to engineers and ordering spare parts in order for engineers

  • Speak with customers over the phone to establish the fault taking detailed information

  • Monitor all low level jobs and take action in order to reduce the 'age' of outstanding jobs

  • Review job reports and inspections sheets at "awaiting complete" status to ensure they are correct and ready to issue to customers

  • Provide support for field based engineers calling in for support on updates on stock orders

  • Ensure technical documents are issued swiftly and charges applied where necessary

  • Co-ordinate the allocation and distribution of 'shared tools' ensuring they are available when and where required

  • Manage warranty claim and returned spare parts in conjunction with the warehouse team so they are expedited quickly

  • Attend customer sites when required with engineer to gain knowledge of products
