Customer Service Advisor

37.5 hours per week between 8am and 7pm (rota) with some Saturdays 8am-1pm

If you have a background in insurance and want to move away from a call centre environment then we would be excited to hear from you. Whilst there is a large amount of telephone work involved in this role, you are not micro managed and you are given an lot of autonomy in the role, unlike a traditional call centre environment.

Job Description:

Working in a small team within customer care you will be responsible for positively handling customer claims and query's regarding insurance products. Our client is heavily audited so every claim must be well documented and dealt with in accordance to regulations. As you progress in your career your knowledge in each product will increase enabling you to demonstrate a clear and comprehensive understanding to the customer. Excellent customer service is to be delivered at every stage of the process.

Candidate requirements:

This role would ideally suit someone who has a natural ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers.

  • Experience in insurance and dealing with the complaints process.

  • Competent with Excel, with good numeracy and literacy.

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Ideally, you will have experience working in a call centre position

This role would suit a candidate looking to build a career within a growing insurance company.

Working Hours:

The working hours for this position are carried out on a rota basis between the hours of 8am and 7pm. You will also be required to work a Saturday between the hours of 8am and 1pm however, this is not yet in place and will be carried out on a rota basis to ensure you do not work every weekend.


Interviews for this role are taking place in August and they would ideally like candidates to be able to start in the role at the end of September or the start of October.
