Customer Services Executive
£9.50 per hour
Braintree, Essex
08:30 to 17:00


This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to go permanent. The permanent salary is£18k-£23k per annum, depending on experience. You MUST be available to start immediately.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the delivery of contractual services for the partners' and to the customers. This important position plays a vital role in creating strong long-term relationships, acting as the bridge between the businesses' partners' and their customers', their third-party logistics providers and internal operational teams.


  • Responsible and accountable to deliver services to agreed contractual terms, reporting and performance levels which result in profitable revenue.

  • Coordinate internal resources, third parties supply chain and customer teams for the flawless execution of services.

  • Ensures that all record keeping and use of systems is completed to meet agreed standards and reporting frequency.

  • Makes decisions which impact on the success of assigned tasks and profitability i.e. results, deadlines and budget.

  • Acting as a point of escalation on service related issues and providing appropriate support to other team members through to resolution.

  • Works in partnership with internal operational teams to deliver tasks and activities within specified business area to consistently track and maintain customer satisfaction levels.

  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships and networks at all levels, internally and externally.

  • Responsible for the adoption of the Company's best practice and service offerings ensuring consistency and quality of service.

  • To undertake any other work-related requests as specified by management and meet all departmental objectives.

  • Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters.

  • Act in accordance with the Company's information quality control, health and safety and, security policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for making recommendations to management.

  • Ability to build effective and constructive relationships across multiple customers and levels.

The ideal candidate:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a practical common-sense approach, proficient with all aspects of administration including:

  • Good interpersonal skills - confidence, assertiveness, drive initiative and enthusiasm.

  • Excellent written and verbal customer-facing and internal communication skills.

  • Solid organisational skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking.
