Job: Customer Service Assistant (6-month FTC)

Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, you will be required to work every third weekend and you will receive two days off during the week in lieu

Location: Bradford

Salary: £17,500

Contract: 6 Month contract

Start date: Immediate

Are you a motivated and hardworking individual with customer service and administration experience? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an excellent opportunity to join a busy and established company in the Bradford area on a maternity contract.


  • Answering high volume inbound calls and providing advice, technical support

  • Log all calls on the system

  • Manage the engineer's diary and book jobs on the system

  • Raise PO's for maintenance and parts

  • Creating sales orders on the system

  • Managing the incoming mail and dealing with enquiries and job requests

  • Sending emails to engineers to ensure their schedule is clear for the next day

  • Ensuring stock and parts are distributed to jobs in a timely and cost-effective manner

  • Booking hotels for the engineers

  • Placing outbound calls to check progress of queries

  • Liaise with regional managers and engineers on a daily basis

Skills required

  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills

  • Strong PC skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Working knowledge of Excel/ Word and Outlook
