We are looking for a brilliant and passionate individual to join our client's team as a Purchasing Assistant. Our client, an established start-up, is seeking a graduate level candidate who can contribute to their growth. As a Purchasing Assistant, your role will be diverse and exciting. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and managing product purchases

  • Collaborating with the sales team to provide quotes for new leads

  • Assisting the marketing and PR teams with new product development

  • Ensuring that the website's product content is up to date

  • Conducting competitor analysis

  • Supporting with financial and bookkeeping tasks

Attention to detail is critical in this role.

We are seeking someone who has completed a technical, scientific, mathematical, or similar degree.

What we're looking for in a Purchasing Assistant:

  • Superb attention to detail

  • Analytical and methodical mindset

  • Highly proficient with numbers and Excel

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously

  • Thrives in a small team environment

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A graduate with a 2.1 or higher

  • Previous professional work experience is a plus

This is a Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm office-based role.
