JOB TITLE: Buyer

HOURS: 09.00am-6.00pm - Early finishes on a Friday!


START: ASAP -Willing to wait notice period


SALARY: £30,000 *Depending on experience + Great Annual Bonus Scheme


LOCATION: Walking distance from St Paul's station. (Remote/Hybrid working)

A bit about the company & the role:


Our client is seeking a Buyer to join their supportive and collaborative team! They are a global organisation and are recognised experts within their sector. Their purpose is to help their customers achieve their goals by providing them with technology advice and the products they need.


They are seeking applications from interested candidates to join their sociable and energised team as a Buyer and work closely with the supply chain/purchasing team. The successful candidate will be a proactive and personable individual who is numerically minded, and data driven.


DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Dealing with stakeholders and suppliers, liaising regarding renewals and orders

  • Dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders

  • Negotiating on pricing and terms

  • Inputting new orders, information, adjustments, and renewals through the internal system

  • Developing supplier relationships for given product set, supported by regular meetings where necessary

  • Clearly and concisely interacting with all company departments; notably the sales department

  • Supporting the team with data entry and compiling reports, and ensuring all changes to purchase orders are recorded on the system

  • Processing invoices and orders and dealing with any queries via the inbox

  • Administration support for the team


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Experience working in a procurement/buying role, ideally within IT/technology (not essential)

  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages is preferable

  • A professional and hardworking individual who is capable of multitasking and working to challenging deadlines

  • Self-motivated, proactive, honest, reliable, and responsible

  • An individual who is willing to go the extra miles to ensure requirements are met and practices are followed

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and effective organisational skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
