Business Support Administrator

Our large accountancy client in the Blackburn area are currently recruiting for a Business Support Administrator to join their large and growing friendly team. They have been expanding their client base and this brings exciting opportunities for additional staffing requirements!


This is a very exciting opportunity and the role is a temporary to permanent contract which means you will have the ability to grow with the business and become successful within your role.


We are seeking enthusiastic Business Support Administrators to help support our expanding client. The office in Blackburn is light, open planned, and modern with a breakout area and canteen, you will be shadowing and supporting key staff who will be able to support you to settle into your role.


The Role: Business Support Administrator


The Salary: £18,000-£24,000 dependent on experience


Location: Blackburn, some expected travel to Manchester offices


Free parking - preferably require candidate with driving license however public transport routes available.


Benefits: Onsite parking, local public travel links, modern open planned office space, the role could transfer onto a permanent contract


Working hours: 37.5 per week (Between the hours of 7:30am to 7:30pm on a rota basis)


This role would be ideal for you should you have experience within busy firms supporting within an administration role. You will have good knowledge of Microsoft platforms and be excellent with grammar and writing documents.

Duties would include: -



  • Teams/Zoom experience is essential and working knowledge of Office 365 suite

  • Answering the phones and taking messages for appropriate colleagues

  • General up keep of the office

  • Keeping on top of schedules and updating them appropriately

  • Email management and maintenance

  • Work from report templates and review and fix templates where required

  • Scanning and filing Documents

  • Working on ADOBE, EXCEL and WORD

  • Using business templates but also being able to change and manipulate to the client needs

  • Working with a variety of clients and supporting the business team as and where needed
