Business Support Coordinator - Health & Safety

Successful, professional and innovative business supplying services and products to the healthcare sector are looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety professional to join their team in Bermondsey.


This is a varied role covering Health & Safety, Compliance and Business Support and we are therefore looking for an individual who is flexible and happy to assist in multiple duties in an SME business.


Duties include:



  • Carry out risk assessments and to identify, implement and monitor corrective remedial action in the form of safe systems of work

  • Maintain the welfare and security of all Personnel

  • Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to

  • Ensure all COSHH risk assessments are reviewed to schedule

  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a safe way to allow the activity of supply, manufacture and installations to take place

  • Manage all relevant documentation of the Health and Safety function

  • Ensure all Transportation is conducted within legal standards and have documented evidence to prove compliance.

  • Conduct regular audits of all areas liaise with Group Health and Safety Director

  • Maintain and develop The Safety and Quality Management Systems

  • Provide ongoing training and coaching for both new and existing staff to a standard

  • Create and implement and manage through KPI's the annual Business Plan and Operational Objectives

  • Manage the Legal Compliance

  • Additional General Administration Duties

  • NEBOSH qualification - desirable

  • Be flexible to support in various areas of the business

  • Excellent problem Solving skills and experience
