We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager from the energy industry or a Sales person with a proven track record in the energy market who would like to take the next step to ne part of an existing team


Primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to optimise TPI relationships and ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised by providing high levels of service to enable trust and partner satisfaction.


As the Business Development Manager your core hours will be Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm although my client does offer Flexible hours due to travelling as this position is mainly working from home with site visits with 2 visits to the Leicester office a month


Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager



  • Developing good working relationships with TPI's in order to generate sales opportunities.

  • Develop and partake in developing strategies to maximise value with the TPI's.

  • Effectively manage diary and meetings in order to maintain a good level of service whilst considering cost to serve.

  • Ensure process and procedures for the TPI's sales segment are effective and efficient.

  • Make suggestions for improvement and progression for TPI sales segment where appropriate.

  • Onboarding and training new TPI's to a good level of performance.

  • Identify training issues with current TPI's and facilitate retraining where required or suggest alternate actions.

  • Utilise relationships to maintain quality measures and metrics to ensure a high "go live rate" ensuring minimal waste and revenue risk.

  • Effective communication across other departments, including internal administration and contract processing teams.
