This role will support the acquisition of new customers and the maintenance and enhancement of existing customer relationships, promote the software brand and its products and services and network at various events; as well as creating and consolidating a bank of documents that are needed throughout the business development journey and generally contribute towards the brand and the company's wider goals and objectives.

  • Generate leads by identifying and engaging potential customers for the website, API and CDS.

  • Convert leads into customers by employing effective sales tactics such as negotiations, sales presentations, etc under the guidance of the Project Manager

  • Identify and target new geographies to support the goal of establishing the brand as the global leader for imaging referral guidelines.

  • Immerse themselves in the global health-tech landscape to effectively explore opportunities in industries that have not yet been targeted, and additional opportunities in existing sectors.

  • Generate revenue from sales.

  • In collaboration with the Project Manager engage with existing customers by providing regular updates on account performance, business improvements, product development

  • Ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction by acting as the primary point of contact for any escalated issues a customer might face or requests that they may have, outside of the usual order work-flow

  • Grow existing customer accounts by up-selling product and service offerings

  • Represent and promote the brand, products and services at conferences and events, bringing in the Project Manager at appropriate points

  • Grow a network of individuals and firms that are relevant to the brand offerings

  • Support the business's marketing strategy by working with agencies for content curation, creation of marketing collaterals, channel activation and other such activities as may be required.

  • Create a bank of assets and documents required in the business development journey such as proposals, sales presentations, MOUs (memorandums of understanding), development contracts, commercial contracts etc. In the process, consolidate and generate a repository of templates that can be used for similar future needs.

  • Contribute towards product and business strategy improvement by understanding market needs, gathering customer feedback, and working closely with the Product Manager and Project Manager to create and deliver these.


  • A good level of education, preferably in business management or related subject

  • Proven track record in business development and/or sales in diverse geographies

  • Experience of creating and delivering sales presentations, negotiating, and managing contracts

  • Experience with health-care information/technology products

  • Effective interpersonal skills with the confidence and credibility to engage with varied internal and external stakeholders

  • Confident in use of software packages from the Microsoft suite, including, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage own time efficiently and prioritise own work across a range of activities and deliver to tight timescales

  • Ability to work independently and to take initiative
