About the job role;

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst
Permanent, Full Time
08:30am - 17:00pm
£32000 - £35,000 (Plus Bonus!)

Main function of job:

  • Provide data and analysis to support decision making related to People across the region

  • Provide the technical expertise to ensure the Success Factors system is administered, maintained and developed across all People modules with rigour and attention to detail

  • Compile HR data, metrics and analysis from the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs

  • Design and manage employee surveys and exit interviews

  • Support recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends and patterns

  • Present results of employee performance evaluations

  • Benchmark against competitors' practices and make recommendations to management

  • Prepare reports of data results and present findings to senior leadership

  • Recognise and suggest short-term and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics

  • Contribute to system decision-making, scoping and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy

  • Investigate and provide analysis of Staff Related Costs across the region both in terms of routine KPIs but also for ad-hoc requests and projects

  • Support the annual budgeting process for Staff Related Costs

  • With consultation, prepare the monthly forecasting for Staff Related Costs

Experience, knowledge and skills required

  • At least 2-3 years' experience within a Data Analyst role

  • Enjoys working closely with data and enjoys Excel , reports etc

  • Previous experience of working with systems to extract and analyse data

  • Strong accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office & advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, vlookups etc

  • Educated to a degree level

  • Experienced HR operations including hiring, payroll and employee benefits - Desirable

  • Experience with SAP and/or Business Objects - Desirable
