We're teaming up with an established company based in the Livingston to recruit a Business Administrator to provide business support to a busy and fast paced team. The role will suit someone who is enthusiastic, with a can - do attitude who is confident supporting managers in a variety of administrative and clerical duties. The salary will be up to £22,000 and the hours are 37.5 a week, Monday- Friday 9AM- 5PM. This is a temporary contract with a minimum of 6 months.



Our client is a leading European pharmaceutical company based in Livingston. They have expanded exponentially over the years and now deals in the development and application of both traditional and unique drug encapsulation technologies internationally. The manufactured products are supported by modern and commercial scale facilities.


There is parking on site and an accessible bus route from Livingston Centre.


A day in the life of your new role:



  • Answer and direct all incoming calls

  • Organise and schedule appointments

  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

  • Type and distribute all correspondence as required

  • Ensure all filing is accurate and up to date

  • Diary management

  • Produce Delivery Notes for courier shipments and book same

  • Order office supplies

  • Book travel arrangements

  • Maintain contact lists

  • Maintenance of client database

  • General administrative duties for other departments



We'd love to speak to candidates who have:



  • Working knowledge of office equipment

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work

  • High level of organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Competent in level in literacy and numeracy

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
