Temp to Perm is also an option if available immediately

The Business Administrator will provide general administrative support to the division.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • General office administration and organisation including setting up new starters.

  • Raising purchase orders with suppliers, chasing delivery of orders, reconciling delivery notes to the purchase orders.

  • Maintaining product list and updating pricing information, renewing existing and setting up new quotations.

  • Managing the purchasing process including ensuring purchase requisitions are appropriately authorised, troubleshooting, raising purchase orders on SAGE and reviewing PO listing of old and undelivered orders, answering queries from Finance department.

  • Receiving and dealing with telephone calls and visitors to the company acting as first line of contact, assisting with queries where possible, re-directing, taking messages as appropriate.

  • Managing company stationery and office supplies.

  • Arranging national and international shipments - liaising with couriers and managing the full process.

  • Liaising with cleaning company, IT, printer suppliers and other office suppliers.

  • Supporting the planning and all major site visits including transport, catering and accommodation, management of room bookings.

  • Ensuring all staff are up to date on training records, SOP and policy reading lists.

  • Programming and maintaining staff, visitor, and contractor site access fobs.

  • Other ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the facility


  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask

  • The ability to work efficiently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

  • The ability to work with a high degree to autonomy, professionalism, care, accuracy, and reliability

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • A "can do" attitude and a desire to be fully involved in driving the growth of the business

  • Previous experience using SAGE would be desirable, but the use of any purchase order systems would suffice

  • Good knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
