Job Title: Brand & Communications Manager

Location: Ashford, Kent

Salary: £35k-£38k

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm

The role:

As a Brand and Communications Manager, you'll ensure that your team are on hand to support the business in every way possible. You'll be obsessive about making customer connections that matter, taking insights on what your customers need and want, and translating them into exciting brand campaigns and communications both on and offline. The successful candidate will manage brand campaigns on and offline to include email, social and video, seasonal activations, new range and product brand launches and publications. They will need to be experienced in running project teams and co-ordinating large-scale activities, with an understanding of key digital metrics, and great copywriting skills.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

  • Manage quarterly brand campaigns

  • Lead new product brand activation

  • Write high quality content for on and offline communications

  • Develop copy and content plans for paid social and video

  • Plan, develop, and activate key seasonal occasions, e.g. Christmas

  • Liaise with category teams and customer marketing to develop propositions and insights for seasonal publications and events

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure activity works for commercial, customer, category, and sales teams

  • Develop sales support materials

Experience and skills required for this position:

  • Experienced in delivering multi-channel campaigns to ideally include email marketing, social media, and video

  • Strong understanding of brand marketing

  • Creative flair, and good copywriting skills, with an ability to translate copy to different audiences both externally and internally

  • Ability to write and contribute to briefs, translating results and insights to assist in the planning and creative process

  • Comfortable acting as a brand guardian both on and offline, identifying areas for improvement, and coaching others to do the same

  • Experience of working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholder relationships

  • Ability to plan at both a strategic and tactical level

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong commercial awareness

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure

  • Experience of managing budgets

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel / PowerPoint)
